Tuesdays

It's a widely accepted opinion that Mondays and Wednesdays are the dreariest days of the week, but I disagree. In my experience, Tuesday is the toughest day to swallow.

Think about it. Monday means the start of a new school week, and with it all the possibilities in the world. Who knows what unexpected adventures a new week could contain? Maybe this week you'll ace a test, make a new friend, hear a good joke, or see a good movie. But in reality, nothing exciting like this happens until at least Wednesday or Thursday, because the beginning of a school week means the end of the weekend, and that's just too depressing. However, when Wednesday rolls around, the end is in sight. Now people start loosening up and having a good time.

But in between all of Monday's dreams for new adventures and Wednesday's fun, there sits Tuesday, poor little Tuesday, without even any good shows on TV (House is not worth watching).

But don't worry! The weekend is right around the corner, and after that starts a new week, but we're looking a little too far ahead. It is still Tuesday after all.
